THE GIVENCHY FILES

One day in spring 2003, a young man called Riccardo Tisci stopped by the studio
of M/M (Paris) to buy a couple of their Alphabet posters he was admiring.
Two years later as the newly appointed creative director for Givenchy,
Tisci invited M/M to develop an ever-expanding visual langage for the revered
fashion house. Invitation cards for his fashion shows have become a space of visual
experimentations through which M/M freely express Tisci’s inspirations.
‘Hyper-chic propaganda, imperceptible appeals, juvenile graffiti, interweaving dark
choruses and hypothetical calculations of the imaginary’, as described
by Olivier Zahm, these invitations for the women, men and haute couture collections
of Givenchy are gathered for the first time in this publication, celebrating this
fertile collaboration — an original and rare happening in fashion imagery —
that is still going strong.

Sunglasses ALTEWAISAOME

The two founders, Randa Saome and Natalia Altewai will give an exclusive pre-presentation of the Altewaisaome SS13 first ever eyewear collection on the 4th of October during the '‘Fashion After Dark’’ event at Storm. The exiting sunglasses are an eclectic mix of Scandinavian minimalism, Italian ostentatiousness and international high fashion. This will be the first presentation in public after Altewaisaomes SS13 fashion show and will be the only chance to pre-order them before they launch at the beginning of November exclusively at Storm.

For Costume‘s event ''Fashion After Dark'' Storm will open its doors along with 50 other hand picked stores in Copenhagen city center for an extraordinary shopping experience. The creators behind the new label COMMON Affairs, Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund, present their Fall/Winter 2012 collection. “It’s a fusion of London edge, Paris chic and Scandinavian minimalism,’ says Bakir. Exhibition Justin

Tomorrow artist Peter Voss-Knude will lead us through an aesthetic exploration of multiples identities. He will be giving an exclusive insight in four different personas; a gogo-dancer, a special police officer, an activist writer and a hollow fashionista. Peter manages to create a unique symbiosis between life and art. The exhibition is site specific and incorporates Storms identity of being a concept store, itself defined by so many different brands.
